The gambler awoke on wednesday the 18th to play their first festival. Without a van we had no way to transport the hordes of musical instruments under our possession to the gig. So we hailed down a bacardi truck. Yes a bacardi delivery truck and simply asked the driver if he'd bring us to our gig. With a toothy smile he agreed. So there we were crammed into the back of this bacardi truck. Don't worry we got the whole thing on camera. As we approached the gig the man parked the truck by the tent and there we were pouring out of the back of the truck with our instruments and like a cheetah running in sand dustclouds kicked up under his tires as the bacardi man drove away.

We made it to the gig just in time to play. We set up all our equipment on the stage and quickly ran behind it to put on our medical outfits which you will see in the pictures i post soon. A man walked up on stage to announce we were playing and say a few more things to the students at ULB. Meanwhile the gamblers found a passageway underneath the stage and we thought how glorious it would be to emerge not from the side of the stage but from underneath it in our dresses. So there we were all huddled together underneath the stage and apparently a student had gotten up on top of the stage and taken his clothes off and started jerking off in front of the crowd. I didn't receive word of this until after the show however. Then we crawled up on stage from underneath it played a kick butt show and then vanished.

Gamblers

hello gambler fans,
an update as to whats been hip and righteous. Today is Thursday April 5th and we've finally moved into our flat. It is complete with 3 main rooms connected together. A large hallway/closet and an upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedroom was inhabited by an old woman who must have died and there's still pictures of her husband from 1945 sitting around. Aside from the fact that room is completely scary the rest of the flat is great. A few days ago we took a road trip to a small town called la roche and visited a few castles along the way. We decided to camp so we drove our van up this steep hill and found a place to park at the top. That night we heard all kinds of fucking animals howling and making sound and we were wondering where they were coming from. The next day we awoke to find ourselves camped right next to a friggin petting zoo. Low and behold our van battery was dead so we had to push start our van. We all pushed it down this hill and then votke had to jump into the drivers seat to pop the gear into second. A scene right out of little miss sunshine. Our first gig is on april 11th at club havana thats www.havana-brussels.com. And we are playing a festival for supposedly up to 2,000 college kids on April 18th at some outdoor beach volley ball thing. To all the misses we miss you all so much and i will be sure to post more frequently now that i have a house. Oh and i bought a chair today.
